Taylor Sirman's Junior Recital

This morning, April 12, at 11:00 in the Fine Arts Recital Hall, Taylor Sirman presented his Junior Recital.

Everyone once in a while, a student asks me to record at a recital, and I am pleased to do so, especially for Taylor, since his family resides in Florida and could not attend this important event for all Music majors--and quite a few majors attended today's presentation.

Accompanied by Debra DeFrain on piano, Taylor showed off his skill on the French Horn with a number of pieces by Richard Strauss, Jan Zdenek Bartos, and W. A. Mozart.

He also played one of his own compositions, "Waltz No2 for Horn.

I posted a series of photographs for this morning's recital, and you can enjoy Taylor's playing his own composition--and three short parts of other pieces from the presentation--on a You Tube video.
