Magic with Chemistry

Who does not enjoy watching controlled explosions?

Once again, professors Daryl Long and Dennis Welch along with Chemistry students put on their special Magic with Chemistry show, filling the class with enthusiastic observers.

Everyone enjoyed the show that included a vomit-spewing pumpkin.  What's not to like?

While not the loudest of this annual fun with chemistry, the event offered numerous examples of color-changing and flame-producing chemical reactions.

Oh, and hats.
