Oak Bowl Continues

Work on the Oak Bowl moves along quickly through the fall with significant headway.

This particular set of images shows the final stages of completing the carpet, and the field look beautiful.

I also watched the crew pour cement and complete the seating.

Mike Gregory, an engineer with  Kiewit, graciously supplied me with a fun and  short video.  

In the brief film, the players learn on their final practice before Homecoming that they can use the new field.

The images linked previously also include a new focus:  the completion of the Press Box and the Concession Area.  Construction there moves along apace, and I will return now and again to share the progress with you.
