Madrigal Musical Theater

On Tuesday evening, April 6, in the PSC Theater, the Peru State College Madrigal Singers offered an evening of Musical Theater every bit as delightful as last year's show.

Under the direction of Dr. Tom Ediger, the talented and colorful singers offered the appreciative audience a
impressive array of songs from numerous Broadway shows, from Wicked to West Side Story.

The 74 images I uploaded include posed shots and quite a few pictures taken of the many excellent individual singers and duets.

Though I did not film any of the duets or solo numbers, you can
listen to three videos from the group songs that opened and concluded this delightful evening.

The first video features the show's opening numbers, "One Short Day" form Wicked and "The Spark of Creation" from Children of Eden.

The next recording offers a medley of numbers you will easily
recognize, "Tonight," "I Feel Pretty," "America," "One Hand, One Heart," and "Somewhere"--beautiful and familiar songs from West Side Story.

This night of exceptional talent concluded with "One Day More," from Les Miserables.

Enjoy the images and the video.
