Last fall, early in the semester, I fell woefully behind with this blog though I did keep up on You Tube and on Facebook with all the events I usually highlight here. I will now begin the process of catching up, so you see a mixture of dates and events for the next few months.

Fall 2013 Jazz on the Green
Thunder storms awoke me early Thursday morning, and the lightening put on quite a display. But by 10:00, the sun took over, and the weather turned stunning, perfect for this fall's presentation of Jazz on the Green.
And after the show, the weather returned the area to the wet.
As the photographs underscore, Jazz on the Green features excellent music, good food, and wonderful fellowship.
Owing to a glitch with my movie camera, I filed only one number this time around, the first the band offered the audience.
Everyone enjoyed a grand time on a great day, including The Mighty Quin, to whom the band and the audience sang a happy fifth birthday.
