Last fall, early in the semester, I fell woefully behind with this blog though I did keep up on You Tube and on Facebook with all the events I usually highlight here. I will now begin the process of catching up, so you see a mixture of dates and events for the next few months.

Andreas Xenopoulos Recital
Tuesday Evening, January 21, in the Fine Arts Recital Hall, Greek pianist Andreas Xenopoulos played beautifully for a full house.
Andreas continues work on his doctorate at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln where she studies with Dr. Paul Barnes, an American virtuoso. Andreas also is an Instructor of Music at Peru State College.
In addition to posting photographs from Andreas Xenopoulos' energizing performance, I also published on You Tube two videos so that you can either watch again or take advantage of the opportunity to experience what you missed.
The first video (six minutes) features a section from Andreas' playing Franz Schubert's 12 Valses Nobles:
The major part of the program was devoted to Modest Mussorgsky's Pictures at an Exhibition, you can watch twelve minutes of the talented Andreas Xenopoulos' stirring performance.
