Oak Bowl Renovation Part Two

Press Box Foundation

 Stadium Lights Arrive

On Tuesday morning, May 7, the day before I left for Ripon, WI, where I presently sit, I visited the construction site for the Oak Bowl renovation.

To look over photographs of progress prior to this visit, just visit the initial blog page for images and links from my visits, beginning on 17 January.

The page began to get "crowded," so I
created this second page you can access from the original page.  Check out, too, the photographs from my most recent visit.

Despite some twelve inches of rain that
slowed progress considerably these past months, the foundation for the new press box awaits concrete.

In addition, while I avoided mud, the truck
arrived with the five lights and poles for the stadium.  Elaine Hanson wrote me that on thus Thursday, 9 May, the first of the four poles got planted.

I plan to return in July when my wife and I stop in Peru on our way to visit our two children in Denver and Boulder.
