As the preceding photographs and the uploaded shots indicate, the sixty third graders and I
enjoyed our time together on Monday, March 1.As happened when I payed a visit last spring to the elementary school in Auburn, Nebraska, the students watched pictures of birds, learned some bird songs, and then used their imagination with the coloring-books
images I supplied.They came up with some colorful creations.
You also might enjoy a short video I made of the students' work
and their play.The new wing of Calvert Elementary school is beautiful, and I look forward to another visit and more fun in Third Grade.
