Reuben Ironhorse Kent
Reuben will return to Peru State College to for a recital at 11:00 on February 19 in the CATS Conference Room. He will discuss some of his art and play flutes.
His appearance is free and open to the public.
Please join us for this program of art and music. Reuben presently completes work on his MFA from the Institute of American Indian Arts in Santa Fe.
And at the Alpha Chi National Honor Society Convention this March 19-21 in Chicago, Reuben will offer another recital; Alpha Chi will honor Reuben Ironhorse-Kent as the honor society's Distinguished Alumni.
As the following images underscore, Reuben Ironhorse-Kent, an enrolled member of the Iowa Tribe of Kansas and Nebraska, shows expertise in multiple media, from ceramics to flutes.
A Cum Lauda Language Arts graduate from Peru state College, Reuben is also a member of Alpha Chi National Honor Society.
Reuben Ironhorse-Kent also earned MFA (Creative Writing) and AFA (Three-Dimensional) degrees from the Institute of American Indian Arts in Sante Fe, New Mexico.
