As happened when I payed a visit last spring to the elementary school in Auburn, Nebraska, the students watched pictures of birds, learned some bird songs, and then used their imagination with the coloring-books

They came up with some colorful creations.

The new wing of Calvert Elementary school is beautiful, and I look forward to another visit and more fun in Third Grade.
